The first Yorkshire Winter League of 2024 was played on Sunday 18th February at Brandesburton. 22 teams entered including 6 teams from Brandesburton. None of our teams managed to get in to the top 4 but a good afternoon was had by all. The catering staff who did a sterling job, all day selling Bacon sandwiches and Soup. A big thank you to the organises and of course our lovely catering ladies.
Our final melee played on 29th November 2023 as 19 members turned out on a very cold day to a good afternoon of boules. The final positions as follows:

BREAKING NEWS
On Sunday 29th October 2023 our club received a call to help out Molescroft Petanque Club who were hosting the Yorkshire Winter League. The terrains at Molescroft were waterlogged so we were happy to save the day at Brandesburton. At the end of the 5 game event it was announced that our very own players Geoff and Thomas had won the event.
Congratulations to our oldest member Brian Johnson who has just celebrated his 90th Birthday. He is now enjoying life with his family in the sunshine of Spain.
